Our young Vizsla ‘Paddington’ who after a year out of the show ring (his last show was Crufts 2008) won 2nd place in an excellent Mid Limit class. Jude (at his first Crufts) also did us proud by winning 3rd place in a large Yearling class. It was also good to get the chance to catch up with some friends we hadn’t seen for a long time.

Massive congratulations Moray and Kath Armstrong, Naomi Cragg and John Thirlwell with ‘Yogi’ (Paddington’s dad) who not only won Best of Breed in Vizslas’ but went on to win the gundog group!

Hopefully we will try and get Paddington shown a bit more again later on this year when hopefully his classes won’t be as likely to clash with Jude’s.

Happy New Year to everyone! Today we were at The Cocker Spaniel Club ‘Puppy Challenge Event’. Jude had qualified for the occasion but unfortunately was unable to attend as he had an upset stomach. We still had a lovely time and enjoyed watching the show. We were delighted to find out that Jude had ended up as the CSC’s top winning parti-colour puppy for 2008 and was 3rd top winning puppy overall. There had been some lovely pups out last year which made his placings even more satisfying. Congratulations to Sandy Platt and ‘Desi’ on winning top puppy 2008.
